Her work spans opera, orchestral, and chamber music, with commissions from prominent organizations such as the Multicultural Music Group, Boston Opera Collaborative, American Lyric Theater, The Victory Players, American Harp Society, and Emory University Symphony Orchestra.
Acclaimed for her operatic achievements, receiving Opera America’s Discovery Grant for ¿Y los Pasteles? (2022) and being a finalist in Atlanta Opera’s “96-Hour Opera Project” with Atlanta: 1906. As the Schwartz Artist-in-Residence, she premiered Marejada de los muertos (2023). Currently, she is developing the comedic opera Working for the Macbeths with librettist Marcus Yi.
